Description :
A first cold pressing extracts from borage seeds the ''virgin oil''.
This provides the human body with two essential fatty acids : linoleic and gammalinolenic which is a direct precursor of E1 prostaglandins, the beneficial effect of which on skin cells is today well understood.
The nervous tissue, the circulatory system, and the reproductive organs also benefit from it.
A supplement of borage oil is useful in cases of skin conditions such as lack of elasticity, stretchmarks, and wrinkles, and may be taken internally (orally) or externally (by piercing the capsule and applying to the skin).
It is aloso useful in cases of venous conditions (varicose veins, piles), stress, anxiety, depression, and to combat the ageing of tissues.
