The intestinal flora is made of harmless micro organisms that inhabit the lining of the intetinal tract and assist with the absorption and assimilation of food.
The beneficial effect of the lactobacilli has long been know by those consuming fermented dairy products. We have now selected the best of these organisms : bifidus (bifidobacterium bifidum) and acidophilus (lactobacillus acidophilus). Bifidus is a powerful antidote to pathogenic bacteria or fungi by absorbing their toxins and preventing their multiplication. It decreases lactose intolerance and helps with the assimilation of milk.
Acidophilus acts in synergy to ward off harmful bacteria and regulates digestion and assimilation of food.
Bifidofilus is useful in cases of diarrhoea, intestinal disorders and regenerates intestinal flora during or after a course of antibiotics.
